The self catering cottages have a spectacular view of the Xholora Forest and Amatola foothills. They each have two bedrooms and can sleep up to five guests. The cottages each have a bathroom (with a bath or shower), an open plan lounge / dining and fully equipped kitchenette with a stove, oven, fridge / freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. All the cottages have comfortable furniture, a TV with DStv and a cosy indoor fireplace, for frosty winter nights. There is a shared swimming pool as well as BBQ / braai facilities for guests to make use of.

These units have a farm-like view with a mountain backdrop as well as BBQ / braai facilities.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
