About The Dome

Nestled within the indigenous Tsitsikamma forest, 230m above sea level on a dramatic escarpment, is where you'll find our one of a kind luxury dome. Surrounded by nature, our star gazing accommodation offers captivating views of the Indian Ocean. Whether lazing on the air bed with a book or soaking up the bubbles in a 40 years old wine barrel tub, our dome promises the ultimate relaxation experience.

Accommodation

The Dome is a hard cover clear dome with surround curtains and is furnished with a Queen-size bed with an electric blanket. There is an outdoor bathroom containing a shower with eco heater, hairdryer and towels. Plush blankets, luxury linen, slippers and gowns complete the room.

There is a microwave, bar fridge, snack basket and tea / coffee making facilities. There are battery operated lanterns and candles.

Outside is an eco friendly wood fire hot tub with hot and cold water and eco-friendly bubbles.

Guests can enjoy a golf cart for shuttle purposes ONLY from the dome to the lodge, a short distance away.

Dining

Breakfast is included in the rates and is served between 08h00 and 10h30 in the restaurant. Lunch and dinner are available at the restaurant at the main lodge. Guests can pre-book picnic baskets that can be delivered at a time of your choice.

Experience

Enjoy a sundowner as the slanting rays of the setting sun, light up the horizon from pink to orange. The doorbell will ring down the pathway, sensing the arrival of your forest picnic as day turns to night.

Turn off the lights and be mesmerized by the African night skies, one would feel that you are engulfed in the galaxy. Explore the Milky Way with our celestial telescope. Exclusive and private, a must for honeymoon couples or anyone wishing to catch their shooting star. There is also a health spa on site.

An early morning specialty coffee and as birds sing in chorus as the sun rises and filters through the tree tops, sounds the beginning of a new day and a hearty breakfast in the restaurant.
