The Lookout is a self-catering holiday home in Thesen Island, a multi-award winning marina development located in the scenic Knysna estuary on the renowned Garden Route - one of the most picturesque and popular coastal towns in South Africa.
Self Catering Accommodation
The Lookout has five luxury en-suite bedrooms furnished with double beds. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower and/or bath, toilet and basin.
The fully equipped kitchen ensures all your culinary needs are met. It is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, and gas stove with an electric oven. A large dining table is the perfect spot for families to enjoy their meals together. The lounge has comfortable seating and a TV with the DStv hotel package, and Wi-Fi.
Sliding doors lead out onto the balcony with a built-in braai, overlooking the lagoon with a breathtaking view of the sunset.
Please be aware that this unit is situated on the first floor of the building and is double-story, making it unsuitable for wheelchair access.
Parking is available on site.
Attractions
The marina is spread over 90ha and consists of 19 man-made islands linked by 21 arched bridges and surrounded by 25ha of tidal waterways. Thesen Islands is linked by a causeway and bridge to the mainland, and is within walking distance of the scenic waterfront, yacht harbour and town centre of Knysna. Attractions in the area include Knysna Heads Oyster Experience, Big Ben Sunset Tours, Featherbed Nature Reserve, Goukamma Nature Reserve, Homtini Pass, Katara Pass, Knysna Elephant Park and Knysna Forest.
