About The Plett House

The Plett House is a gracious beachfront double-story Tuscan Villa on Central Beach in Plettenberg Bay. This spacious home-away-from-home has majestic views of the sea and mountains, and is perfect for memorable family holidays and working remotely. The house enjoys magnificent views of breaking waves, the Beacon Island Hotel, Hobie & Central beaches and the Tsitsikamma mountains.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Plett House has five spacious en-suite bedrooms furnished with King-size beds. Four of the rooms are located upstairs and one is downstairs. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. There are also domestic quarters for a live-in nanny or chef.

The main bedroom leads onto an enclosed glass patio, with uninterrupted views of the sea and beach. There is a small kitchenette upstairs, with a Nespresso machine, microwave, kettle and dishwasher.

The entertainers kitchen, situated downstairs, is well-equipped with a pantry and appliance area, walk-in cold room and separate scullery and laundry. There is also a small kitchenette upstairs, with a Nespresso machine, microwave, kettle and dishwasher.

The two lounges and the main bedroom have a smart TV with Netflix, Showmax and DStv. The downstairs lounge leads onto an enclosed pool. Braai facilities are also available.

The outside deck is nestled in the fynbos, under a Milkwood tree, with fairy lights. This is ideal place for sundowners and al fresco dining.

In addition, there is direct access onto Hobie & Central beaches via a private walkway from the house.

Attractions

There are three amazing beaches all within a few minutes of the city centre and each with great views and warm water. Lookout beach is best for swimming and Robberg beach best for walking. Robberg is a Blue Flag beach so you know that the water will be clean and lifeguards will be on duty. Often you can see pods of dolphins playing in the waves - they are attracted by the warm water and travel past Plettenberg Bay en route to their breeding areas of Mozambique.

In addition to the swimming and surfing promise that makes this town so popular there are other natural wonders that merit your attention: Plett is well known for the Robberg Nature reserve, boat trips that take you out to see whales in their natural environment and horseback safaris in the Plettenberg Bay nature reserve.
