The Ramshed is a one-of-a-kind cottage steeped in history, embodying the true essence of the Karoo. It's a harmonious blend of modern comfort, the warmth of wool, and the timeless beauty of wood. What makes it truly special is the transformation of the old ram shed into a unique hideaway, providing respite for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This luxury solar-powered cottage is furnished with an extra-length King-size bed and sleeper couch is also features an en-suite bathroom with, bath, shower, gowns and slippers. The cottage contains a well-equipped kitchen with an Old Esse Coal stove, gas stove, a fridge/freezer with a water dispenser, microwave, coffee plungers. The lounge has a fireplace, fan, large comfy couch, puzzles, games and books. Large double doors open up to a patio with a braai pit. Guests can admire spectacular Karoo views, sunsets and stars.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
