The Riverstone House is the ideal place to enjoy a self catering country getaway. Situated in Wolseley, you are only 15 minutes away from Tulbagh and Ceres and can enjoy a wide range of exciting outdoor activities.

There are many nature walks, restaurants, farms stalls and cycling routes within easy reach.

Self Catering Accommodation

Riverstone House can offer all the facilities and amenities you need for your self-catering stay. A large, well decorated country house awaits you! Relax in the comfortable lounge, or on either the front or back covered patio.

Cool down in the Bree River when it gets too warm, or in our farm dam. Family dining inside at a 10 seater table when it's cool, or out on the patio at the large wooden table during the long summer evenings.

Easy seating at the kitchen bar for breakfasts, for an informal meal. Our wood burning stove in the lounge keeps the communal space cosy in winter, with fans throughout for warm summer days.

There are four bedrooms, two furnished with twin and two furnished with double beds. The art in each room is sponsored by various service, activity or accommodation providers in the Valley. Extra single beds are available in Ceres Rail and Equiknow rooms, turning the twins into triples when needed. There are two full bathrooms with a bath and a shower shared by the four rooms.

Enjoy amenities to make a longer stay more comfortable – washer, dryer, dishwasher and aircon in one bedroom. Riverstone provides handsoap, shower gel, tea, coffee, sugar and 250ml milk. All towels, for swimming and showering, and linen supplied.

Pet friendly, with pet sitting and servicing available on request, we also offer uncapped wifi. The Bree River does not flow actively in peak summer season unfortunately, due to the drought.
