About The Rose 'n Ale
We are situated in the tranquil seaside suburb of Gonubie. With just a 15 minute drive into East London and a 5 minute walk to our fantastic beach, a perfect spot for both the holiday maker and the business guest.
ACCOMMODATION
Our self catering units, each individually furnished, are comfortable and offer all one needs for a relaxing stay. Each is equipped with outdoor entertainment facilities and barbecue, as well as private entrances and secure parking.
Family friendly: at Rose and Ale our communal garden offers a trampoline, swimming pool, jungle-gym, swings and a sandpit to keep the little ones occupied. Our other units are close to the sea and offer enclosed yards or a balcony.
Facilities
All kitchens are fully equipped with full range of crockery and cutlery, microwave, kettle, toasters and fridge. (Blue room has kitchenette - no sink)
All units have percale linen for all beds supplied as well as bath towels and extra blankets
Complimentary tea and coffee and fresh rusks available for first nights stay
Servicing daily at Rose and Ale and on request for other units at a small fee

Stayed in Rose Cottage, very clean and comfortable, but the bathroom is very very small. The parking space for Rose Cottage is also very akward to access especially if there are other vehicles in the yard. Owners of bigger SUV's or vehicles such as double cab bakkies will have a hard time parking. Overall I would definitely recommend, staff are friendly and as mentioned room was clean and well stocked with crockery etc. Everything needed for self catering is there. Situated +- 500 meters from the Gonubie boardwalk and beach. Shops, fuel stations, take aways etc. all in close proximity.
