The Stoke House offers homely accommodation in Clarens. In the area guests will find a variety of restaurants at which to indulge, amazing shops, galleries, a spa and adventure activities for the adrenaline junkies.

The owner's love of the Eastern Free State, mountain biking, nature and adventure were the perfect ingredients for the creation of The Stoke House. They have created a ‘home away from home' right in the center of Clarens and are only about 500 meters from the nearest hiking trails. It is within walking distance from the town center for you to wonder around to shop, eat and enjoy.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Stoke House consists of the Stoke House and two suites, namely Tippie Suite and Tomac Suite. Each unit has its own kitchen facilities and there is no DStv or Wi-Fi. The house and two suites can be rented out together for groups of up to eight guests.

The Stoke House:
The Stoke House consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first bedroom features a Queen-size bed and the second bedroom contains two single beds which can be converted into a King-size bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas stove, oven, fridge, microwave and a kettle. The lounge features a wood-burning fireplace and a flat-screen TV with things to watch on a memory card. The living area leads onto a patio with built-in braai facilities and views of the mountains.

Tippie Suite:
Two guests are able to be accommodated in this suite. The bedroom makes use of a Queen-size bed. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, a toilet, a basin and clean towels. The equipped kitchenette includes a stove, toaster, kettle, oven, small fridge and a microwave.

In the room there is a flat-screen TV with things to watch on a memory card. There is a private patio and a braai that overlooks the surrounding mountains. Crisp clean linen, extra blankets, hot water bottles and a wall-mounted panel heater are provided.

Tomac Suite:
Up to two guests can accommodated in a Queen-size bed with crisp clean linen, extra blankets, hot water bottles and a wall-mounted panel heater for cold nights. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, a toilet, a washbasin and clean towels. Guests can make use of the flat-screen TV with things to watch on a memory card. The suite has a kitchenette that is equipped with a kettle, toaster, stove, oven, small fridge and a microwave. There is a private patio and a braai that overlooks the surrounding mountains.
