Trumpetters Drift Game Farm is the ideal destination for visitors wanting a quiet retreat with the option of indulging in game farm activities with family and friends. The farm is located 50km from Grahamstown.

The 5000-hectare reserve, which overlooks the Great Fish River has Kudu, Impala, Nyala, Zebra, Eland, Waterbuck, Grysbuck, Giraffe and other antelope species. This reserve is free from large predators, but there is an abundance of smaller predators, such as black back jackals, bat-eared fox as well as caracals.

Self Catering Accommodation

Trumpetters Drift Game Farm is comprised of a six-sleeper farmhouse as well as rooms with a view of the river. Both the farmhouse and the river view rooms share the kitchen facilities in the farmhouse unless booked exclusively and have access to a communal swimming pool. Room facilities include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities and housekeeping.

Three Bedroom Holiday Farmhouse has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the second and third rooms each have two single beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. The two remaining rooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery. The kitchen is shared with the other two rooms unless the farm is booked exclusively. The living area is comfortably furnished with couches, a dining table and a TV. The house opens onto a patio.
