We offer a cosy intimate hideaway for two with magnificent views of the Drakensberg. The room is furnished with a comfortable Queen-size bed with a lovely warm winter duvet and an electric blanket for those chilly nights. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, wash hand basin and toilet. There is a small but well-appointed kitchen and seating for two and full premium DStv on a flat-screen television. There is a choice of two braai areas, one of which is undercover in case the mist rolls in. There is undercover parking for one vehicle.

We offer a secluded secure cottage for four with uninterrupted views of the Drakensberg range. The cottage has two comfortable bedrooms, one furnished with a Queen-size bed and the other furnished with a choice of two singles or one king size. All the beds have lovely warm duvets for the cold winter nights. There are two bathrooms, one fitted with a bath, shower, wash hand basin and toilet and the other fitted with a large shower, toilet and wash hand basin. There is an open plan dining / lounge with a cosy fireplace for the winter nights or when the mist closes in and you really do seem to be at the Land's End. There is a flat screen television with full DStv and comfortable a lounge suite from which to watch it. The door from the lounge opens to a large veranda where you can sit with your sundowner of choice and watch the sun slowly disappear behind the mountains. There is a braai just off the veranda. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a new 4 plate gas stove and electric oven, high end work surface as well as a full size fridge/freezer.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
