River Room 1 and 3 have a spacious terrace but no plunge pool. Each River Room has a King Size bed (that can split into Twins), air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. All rooms supplied with bottled water, spray-on insect repellent, Africology toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available. Elephants regularly use a migratory route that passes by these rooms which allow for excellent up-close-and-personal game viewing. The location of the Elephant Rooms are ideal for friends travelling together or families with teens wishing to be close to their parents. Built tree house style high above the bush, the Elephant Rooms are accessed via a wooden walkway from the Main Lodge. The Ulusaba Treehouse Suite is approximately 160 sqm. A spacious and very private suite featuring a private deck with views over Xikwenga Dam where hippos and elephants come to bathe. There is also a large viewing deck adjacent to the room perfect for breakfasts, lunches and private dinners accommodating 16 people. The Treehouse Suite is an approximate 10 minute walk from the main lodge and is accessible by swing bridges and raised walkways. The Treehouse Suite has a King Size bed (that cannot split into Twins), air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available.     Frequently Asked Questions

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
