About Umtamvuna River Lodge

Umtamvuna River Lodge can be found in a nature reserve right on the banks of the Umtamvuna River. During your stay you an enjoy the tropical garden and unwind with the soothing sound of the water and the sound of the birds.

If you are looking for a bit more adventure, there are a host of great watersports and river cruises you can enjoy.

We have a pet Vietnamese pot-bellied pig who roams the garden and enjoys playing with the kids. Now and again you will see the Samango monkeys visit.

Accommodation

Each suite at Umtamvuna River Lodge has air conditioning, a TV with selected DStv tea / coffee making facilities and a bar fridge.

Air conditioned En-suite Rooms x 8:
These suites have a King-size bed or single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bath. There is also a sleeper couch.

Honeymoon Suite x 1
This suite has a King-size bed a lounge area with a TV and an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath.

Breakfast & Dining

Umtamvuna River Lodge offers daily breakfast and guests can enjoy snacks at the pool or at the cocktail bar. A selection of restaurants can be found within a 5-minute walk from the property.

There is a pool terrace and cocktail bar on stilts along side the river. There is a swimming pool, table tennis, foozball table, pool table and peddle boats.
