Vaal Marina Resort is a self catering dam front resort located on the Gauteng shores of the Vaal Dam. Our Resort features 26 hectares of scenic rich parklands compromising of a 350m water front, swimming pool, kids swimming pool, kids playground, slipway & jetty, fishing, water sports, braai & picnic areas and so much more.
Self Catering Accommodation
Vaal Marina Resort offers uniquely designed chalets, all equipped with single unit air-conditioning, flat screen satellite TV, a kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Linen and towels are provided. The chalets have a patio with braai facilities.
Chalets are serviced daily by our friendly housekeeping staff.

On Site Facilities
Large, well maintained swimming pool and also a kiddies pool are available for your enjoyment. Very well equipped and safe kiddies playground will keep the kids busy for hours at a time. Our onsite convenience store, Café @ VMR stocks all the essentials that you may require during your stay, They also offer a take away menu should you not feel like firing up the braai. Kick back and relax with a game of pool or table tennis; rock the foosball, or challenge the gang to a board game!
Activities
Experience the majestic water of the Vaal dam, enjoy an array of non-motorised & motorised water sports on offer. With many common species of fish such as barber, common carp, mirror carp etc, roaming the waters, chalets as close as 20m to the dam, and plenty for the family to do, the resort is a fisherman's paradise.
One could take a relaxed cycle along one of the many tracks surrounding the dam, or heat things up on one of the mountain biking paths. Other adventure activities include rock climbing; which provides spectacular views of the dam, paintball, which is great fun for the whole family, etc.
