Attractions

Jeffreys Bay, known as J-Bay, is a beautiful coastal town in the Eastern Cape, about an hour's drive from Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). The town is home to one of the five most famous surfing destinations around the globe. It hosts the annual Billabong Pro ASP World Tour surfing event at Supertubes in July.

The beaches are great for romantic strolls, shell collecting, a variety of exciting water sports, and spotting Southern Right Whales breaching in the bay during season. The nearby Kabeljous, Seekoei, and Krom river lagoons are home to numerous water birds and are ideal for water sports like canoeing, boardsailing, and fishing.
