Set high on the slopes of Chapman's Peak, overlooking a forest of ancient milkwood trees dating back over 2,000 years, Villa Sefarina is a 7-bedroom, thatched retreat that boasts captivating views of Noordhoek Beach and, in the distance, Kommetjie lighthouse.

Self-Catering Accommodation

Villa Sefarina, meaning 'West Wind,' sits in an elevated position with an inviting pool and an expansive deck offering panoramic 360-degree views. Six of the sea-facing bedrooms have private decks, perfect for enjoying peaceful early mornings as sunbirds and boubou shrikes flit from tree to tree, while you savor your first cup of coffee.

The spacious, multi-storey villa is centrally heated throughout, offering comfort in every season. Each room is individually styled and features its own private bathroom. Sirocco, one of the main suites, comes with an extra-length king-size bed (which can be split into twin beds) and a full en-suite bathroom that opens onto a balcony with breathtaking ocean views. Alisio offers a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and opens to a sea-facing balcony. Additionally, a guest bathroom is located on the ground floor.

Borasco, a suite designed for up to three guests, is named after the Mediterranean wind and includes an extra-length king-size bed, a three-quarter bed, and a full en-suite bathroom, all opening onto a balcony with a sea view.

Calima features an extra-length queen-size bed and a full en-suite bathroom, with sweeping ocean views from its balcony. Tuuli, set beneath the charming thatch roof, offers a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The room enjoys soft afternoon sunlight and picturesque views of the surrounding mountains.

Umoya opens onto a balcony with ocean views, offering a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Mistral, another sea-facing suite, includes an extra-length queen-size bed and a shower-only en-suite bathroom, with access to its own balcony.

To add to the comfort, each room is equipped with a Nespresso machine (starter pack of 10 pods included), hot water bottles, as well as all necessary linen, bath towels, and beach towels.

The well-appointed kitchen leads into a spacious dining room and connects to a dining deck, ideal for enjoying hot days around the gas barbecue. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, American-style fridge-freezer, tea and coffee-making facilities, an ice machine, and an air fryer. For added convenience, there is also a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer, with an optional laundry service available at an additional cost.

The lounge area offers a TV with DStv, a DVD player, and Wi-Fi. While the fireplaces are only for use on the lower floor, the house remains warm and cosy year-round, and guests are provided with an initial supply of firewood. The honesty bar is stocked with a variety of beverages for guests to enjoy.

Villa Sefarina operates off the grid, with an inverter and an 8-hour lithium battery backup ensuring uninterrupted Wi-Fi and power during outages. Guests can access the property through electric gates, and the premises are monitored by CCTV, ensuring a high level of security.

In addition to its stunning views, the villa offers direct access to the beach via a boardwalk that crosses the National Park, although the last stretch is quite steep.
