Walte Rest is a double-storey holiday home in Dullstroom that can accommodate a large group of 12 guests in six bedrooms with six bathrooms.

All the rooms are furnished with twin beds. There are five en-suite bathrooms fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. There is also one separate bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The home features a fully equipped kitchen, an open-plan living area with a TV that has full DStv channels, a wood burning fireplace and leads onto a patio with a braai / BBQ area.

The property boasts free Wi-Fi access, an infinity pool and secure parking for vehicles. The home is serviced daily (except Sundays)

Location & Attractions

The exceptional panoramas of mountains and wild flowers in Dullstroom makes for a wide and varied birdlife in the area - good sightings of all three species of crane extant in South Africa are possible. There is also a bird of prey rehabilitation center with daily displays near the town which is well worth visiting. The surrounding area also offers an opportunity for entertaining day trips.

The most famous Dullstroom attraction of all, however, is fishing. Dullstroom is renowned for its great trout streams and scenic fishing spots. Enthusiasts from across South Africa travel to this town to fish, the well-stocked rivers and dams teeming with Rainbow and Brown trout. A valid Mpumalanga Angling License is required to fish in the public dams - of which there are two.
