Warthog Lodge offers you the best way to experience amazing African wildlife in the malaria-free Mabalingwe Nature Reserve - the playground of a multitude of Africa's finest animals and birds.

Self Catering Accommodation

Decorated with a distinct African flavour, this self catering house is fully equipped. Sleep under the finest Egyptian cotton. Enjoy breathtaking views from the deck. Go on game drives in your own private Land Rover (at an additional cost per day). Get greeted in the morning by a sounder of Warthog and experience the magic of your own open air boma lit by a glowing fire and the Milky Way.

Warthog Lodge consists of a main house with one bedroom, the lounge and dining room, kitchen, scullery, pantry, guest toilet and main deck area. This bedroom has a king size bed accommodating two people and is en-suite with an outdoor shower.

To the left and right of the main house are two chalets. Each of the chalets has a bedroom with a king size bed accommodating two people as well as a full bathroom and outdoor shower. Each chalet also has a private deck. The chalet on the right has a bunk bed as well that can comfortably accommodate two children. The two chalets each have a small bar fridge and coffee making facilities.

All life's luxuries are also available to you from Wi-Fi internet access to a dishwasher and microwave. Privacy is guaranteed for all guests as bedrooms are situated in their own chalets with ensuite bathroom and outdoor shower. Some say you haven't lived till you take a shower under the African stars.

Completely self catering, guests will have the house to themselves, but they will have access to 24-hour support if they need anything. Support is provided by contracted agents to ensure guests are always looked after and taken care of.

Notes

No smoking is allowed in the house. Guests are welcome to smoke on the deck and outside. Please use ashtrays provided. Under no circumstances will pets be allowed. Children are welcome. Young children should be under the supervision of their parents as the house is situated in a Nature reserve where wild animals roam freely.
