About Watersmeet Cottages
Watersmeet Cottages are set on Walkersons Private Estate in the Lunsklip / Naboom river valley, and is 890 hectares of natural grassland.
There are 14 dams, and 4 km of river all stocked with trout. There are Zebras, Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Blesbok, Cerval, bush pig and various other animals that roam freely across the veld. A number of concrete walking paths traverse the Estate for hikers, runners, mountain bikers and nature lovers.
Self Catering Accommodation
We offer two lovely cottages overlooking the estate and boast spectacular views.
The Watersmeet Cottage consists of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. This house has an open-plan living area with a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. The Feathers Cottage comprises open-plan living that can accommodate 2 persons, and features a fireplace and a kitchenette.
Each stone cottage has a covered patio that offers picturesque views of the area, and braai facilities.

This cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Main bedroom is carpeted and furnished with a Queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom has two single beds that can be converted into a King-size bed, with a bathroom across the passage. The lounge / dining is open plan kitchen. The open Fireplace has wood supplied. Limited DStv available. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large gas / electric stove / oven. There is a fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. The stoep has seating, dining table and chairs, and Weber Braai facility. Part of the stoep can be screened against the elements with canvas blinds. The view is spectacular overlooking the Estate and into the sunset fading behind the mountain.
