Welgedaan is centrally located and offers luxury accommodation in George for a family or group of friends. It is close to several shops, restaurants, the N2 and a variety of attractions.

Self Catering Accommodation

Welgedaan is a self catering holiday home with three bedrooms and can sleep up to ten guests. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet and basin. The second and third rooms have a King-size bed. These beds can be made into two single beds upon request. The second bathroom has a shower, bath, toilet and basin and there is a separate guest toilet. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.

There are also two single sofa beds and a double sofa bed which is in the reception area. There is also a cot.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge / freezer, microwave, tea / coffee making facilities, cutlery and crockery. The living area has comfortable sofas, a TV with full DStv and a dining area with ample seating. There is also an indoor braai and bar. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi.

There are lovely braai facilities, a Jacuzzi, pizza oven, double door fridge and freezer. The property has a beautiful deck with a koi pond, waterfall, gas braai, breakfast braai and ice machine.

There are security gates in front of the decks, between the living areas and at the front door. The home has high walls, an electric gate, CCTV and an alarm connected to the ADT security system. The house is located on a very quiet street where the neighborhood watch is very active.

Although the unit is self catering, breakfast can be arranged on request. Dinners can be enjoyed at one of the nearby restaurants.

Attractions

The Garden Route boasts hiking trails with breathtaking views of fynbos, streams and bird life. Various museums can be viewed such as the C.P. Nel (ostrich feathers), Fellowship, Bartolomeu Dias and the Garden Route Museum (steam trains). Garden Route has no shortage of golf courses and other places of interest include Cango Caves, Rust en Vrede Waterfall and Safari Ostrich Farm.
