Wild Syringa offers accommodation in Magaliesburg for two guests in a tranquil haven away from the city. This secluded, private, log cabin styled cottage is located in the Buffelsfontein District of the Magaliesberg region in Gauteng.
Self Catering Accommodation
Wild Syringa is a one bedroom self catering cottage. The bedroom contains two single beds and a bathroom with a roll top bath. There is also an outdoor shower among the trees which is perfect to end off a hot summer day. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen has an oven, full size fridge, tea / coffee making facilities, crockery, cutlery, utensils and hot water.
The lounge area has an open fireplace for cold winter nights. A dining room table and chairs also feature in the living area.
Outside there is a stone braai area and a wooden deck with a table and chairs that overlook the beautiful surrounding area. There is a river nearby for swimming.
Free from electricity, this hideaway has a charm that keeps on luring visitors back again and again for another soul refreshing encounter with nature.
Please Note
Access to the farm is not suitable for low-profile vehicles, but no 4X4 is required. Wild Syringa cottage is off grid with no electricity. Hot water is provided.

The accomodation is more than sufficient for the break away and exactly what we wanted, The setting is beautiful and perfectly isolated, We really enjoyed swimming in the reservoir and the outdoor shower was rustic but most enjoyable.
