Self Catering Accommodation

Peperboom Cottage is a self catering holiday cottage in Nieuwoudtville with two bedrooms. The main room is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and two single beds. There is a bathroom between the two rooms fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and basin.

There is a comfy lounge area and a well equipped kitchen with a dining table, fridge, microwave, two hot plates, toaster, kettle and an indoor fireplace / braai.

Outside there is a braai area and seating.

Experience

There are many historical buildings to view for example the Smuts/Maritz office, the Waenhuis, the Opstal, and many more. For the adventurous people, there are also 4x4 routes and hiking routes that can be explored. The seasonal flowers like candlestick lilies and yellow “katstert” flowers are to be seen on these routes. A must to visit is the old graves, the “trapvloer” as well as the fountain and the old tractors. As it is a working sheep farm, sheep shearing during spring (August) and in the autumn is very exciting as well as seeing the dogs in action getting the sheep together. At Gletser is a glacier pavement.
