Willow Point spans 12 hectares of private waterfront property along the Swart River and Swartvlei Lagoon, nestled within the picturesque lake district between George and Knysna. This stunning location offers the perfect self-catering retreat for families or groups of friends seeking a serene escape.

Self-Catering Accommodation

The double-storey main house at Willow Point boasts sweeping 180-degree views from its expansive main deck, complemented by an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area. The main house comfortably accommodates 4 adults and 4 children, while two additional two-bedroom timber cabins provide room for 8 more guests. The main house can be rented independently, with the cabins available as optional add-ons. However, the cabins are not rented out separately.

The main house is thoughtfully arranged over two levels. The ground floor features three en-suite bedrooms, while the upper level hosts an open-plan living area that opens onto a four-meter-wide deck, perfect for blending indoor and outdoor living.

Two equally spacious en-suite bedrooms, both with sliding doors leading onto the deck, offer distinctive features: one room includes a queen-size four-poster bed, and the other is furnished with a super-king-size bed that can be split into twin beds if needed. An outdoor bath and shower, nestled beneath a milkwood tree, provide a unique alfresco bathing experience. A third bedroom, ideal for children, has two bunk beds and an en-suite shower and basin, with convenient access to a guest restroom nearby. All bedrooms are equipped with floor fans, and there is a laundry room for added convenience.

The two timber cabins, each featuring two bedrooms, are located 20 meters from the main house. Each cabin includes a shared bathroom situated between the bedrooms, fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Both cabins offer flexibility in sleeping arrangements, with beds that can be converted into either a king-size bed or twin beds upon request. The cabins are accessed via steps leading to a small landing.

The open-plan first-floor living space in the main house has been designed to capture the panoramic views of the river, lagoon, and surrounding indigenous vegetation. Large sliding doors lead to a partially covered outdoor deck, where guests can dine and relax. Indoors, the dining area seats up to 14 guests, and the fully equipped kitchen includes Le Creuset appliances, a gas hob, an oven, and an island with three bar stools. The living area features a wall-mounted television with Netflix and Wi-Fi access.

Outside, guests will find an array of comfortable seating options, including chairs and a sofa, and the choice of a gas braai or Weber Kettle braai for outdoor cooking. The property is framed by lush indigenous vegetation, providing a private, tranquil setting with sweeping 180-degree views of the water.
