About Willow Weir Cottage

Willow Weir Cottage offers Dullstroom accommodation on a weir on the Lunsklip River, that runs through the estate. A family of otters can be seen at play early in the morning and in the evening, Zebra often come down from the mountain to graze on the lawns. This home is one of the original stone houses on the Walkersons Estate.

Self Catering Accommodation

Willow Weir Cottage is a self catering holiday home with five bedrooms. Three of the rooms contain a King-size bed. One room contains a Queen-size bed and the remaining two contain two single beds each. A baby cot, mattress and high chair are available. There are five good sized bathrooms. Three of the rooms and the living area have a TV with premium DStv channels.

The open plan living area has a well equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven, hob with extractor, microwave, dishwasher and all the necessary equipment for your self catering needs. There is a breakfast bar with stools.

There is a dining area where you can enjoy your meals and the lounge has comfortable furniture, a fireplace and a coffee table.

The housekeeper is discreetly on site in the mornings to wash up, re-set fires and the braai, make beds, and generally ensure a relaxing stay. Firewood is supplied. She also does childminding in the evenings only for an extra fee.

Outside on the covered patio is a dining table with chairs, a lounge suite, braai facilities and a gas heater. This home has a lovely green, well maintained garden.

Enjoy this comfortable family home set in a picturesque valley, which is home to zebra, wildebeest, springbok, mountain reedbuck, red hartebeest, oribi, blesbok, porcupine, civet cat, and mongoose, as well as fish eagles, long-crested eagles, and jackal buzzards.
