About Woodcutters Forest Cottages

Situated on the edge of the Knysna Indigenous Forest in Knysna are two charming self catering cottages. The cottages are beautifully decorated, peaceful and romantic. This is a fabulous location to unwind and relax with the sights and the sounds of the surrounding forest.

ACCOMMODATION

The cottages are fully-equipped for self-catering. All linen, towels, cutlery and crockery are provided. The cottages are equipped with a TV and come with cozy fireplaces for winter. On the stoep you will find braai (barbecue) and bonfire facilities.

Woodcutter Cottage:
The tastefully decorated cottage sits on the edge of the Knysna forest and sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms. there is a large open plan living / dining area, a fireplace and a patio area with braai facilities.

Mellow Wood Cottage:
This beautiful cottage is on the edge of the Knysna forest with lovely views and sleeps two guests. The cottage has an open plan living and sleeping area with a fireplace. Outside there is a patio with a swinging bench and braai facilities.

Please note

There are 6 pets (3 Boerwindhond, 2 Dutch Kookerhond, a Pekignese and a cat) on the property. They are very friendly and sociable and will leave you alone if you ask them. Also we ask that guests should please not feed them.

Nearby Activities

During your stay you can enjoy hiking trails, cycling, picnicking at Jubilee Creek or taking a dip at Drup Kelders. You can explore the historical Millwood gold mines and visit the Dalene Mathee Memorial. The area has many wildlife species and birds you can spot.
