Zebras Retreat has six bedrooms in the main house and a two-bedroom chalet. The ground floor features two bedrooms, one furnished with a King-size bed and the other with a Queen-size bed. Both of these bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower and bath. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, each with a Queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The chalet has a King-size bed in each of its two bedrooms, and both en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and a basin. The main house kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. Guests can also enjoy the lounge with comfortable leather sofas, fireplace, a TV, dining area, bar and a pool table. Outside, there is an entertainment area with a gas Weber braai, a sparkling pool without a safety net, and a boma with a firepit.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
