About Zingela Lodge

Zingela meaning “Hunter” in Zulu is an exclusive-use lodge offering a fantastic breakaway for families and friends. The lodge is set on the Nyati Wilderness game farm and offers beautiful views across the hills with a spectacular view of the stars and the full moon. The stone lodge is built as a semi-circle enclosing the central entertainment area shaded by three enormous Wild Fig Trees makes a magical space.

Self Catering Accommodation

The double storey stone lodge sleeps fourteen guests and comprises of two double bedrooms with full bathrooms en-suite on the ground floor. There is one double bedroom with bath, toilet and basin leading on to a large deck on the first floor. Four twin bedrooms on the first floor also lead out onto the large deck. Two bathrooms are also available on the ground floor.

The lapa has a large bar, TV area and large dining table. A central braai will entertain everyone in the evening.

The lodge is complete with a good size kitchen, pool and dam. Wood, ice and daily service are included.

The Area

Nyati Wilderness is an expansive game farm located 3.5 hours, from Johannesburg in the beautiful Waterberg. Our 6 000 hectare farm boasts three of the Big-5. The tranquil setting is zigzagged by a multitude of streams and dams across the landscape hosting wonderful bird and wildlife.
