Our off-the-grid 2-sleeper cottage has one luxury bedroom furnished with a king bed, a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The cottage is uniquely situated on the border of the game reserve and working farm, allowing you to see both wildlife and grazing sheep. The cottage also overlooks the Miertjieskraal dam wall, a spectacular site when the dam overflows. The stoep/veranda is spacious and features a private wood-fired hot tub and a romantic lapa/boma for two.

Our off-the-grid premium cottage has two luxury bedrooms. One is furnished with a King-size bed and the other is furnished with twin beds. There are two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a range of amenities, including an ice maker and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a study/ TV room. Outside there is a large covered veranda, an indoor and outdoor fireplace, and a wood-fired hot tub. The cottage is located near the main gate and adjacent to mountain biking and hiking trails.

Our off-the-grid standard cottage has two luxury bedrooms. One is furnished with a King-size bed and the other is furnished with twin beds. There are two bathrooms. There is a large stoep/patio and a fully equipped kitchen. This cottage also has its own bicycle shed and storeroom. It is located on the western section of Aardvark Bioreserve, near the main entrance and our mountain biking and hiking trails. WiFi is available but general phone reception can be intermittent. Your cottage overlooks one of our waterholes and is fenced to keep our hungry Zebras out. You have your own private, wood-fired hot tub!

The "Berghuisie" is by far our most unique and romantic accommodation. This one-bedroom cottage is very private, situated on a hill overlooking the Miertjieskraal dam. The unit has a spectacular view – from your bed, the bathtub or the braai/barbeque area. You have a large indoor fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a private wood-fired hot tub. Words simply don't do justice to this special cottage.

Die Opstal is a comfortable and stylish remodeled farm house - the largest of our accommodations. Easily sleeping 8 people, there are four bedrooms furnished with King-size / twin beds. There are three bathrooms. This classic house offers a large kitchen with a pizza oven, two-in door fireplaces, a large patio and hot tub. Die Opstal is on the commercial side of the farm surrounded by fruit trees, sheep and chickens. Die Opstal is located near our mountain biking trails and within walking distance of the Miertjieskraal Dam.

Many of our other roads do however require 4x4 capabilities.

We regret no children under the age of 4.

How to confirm?
Deposits are required to confirm a booking, usually 50% but sometimes as high as 100% depending on season and time till check-in.

Cancellation policy
If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
