From Johannesburg (N2 South)
Due to road works between Pongola and Piet Retief the following route is recommended.
Take the N2 South, past Ogies, Bethal, Piet Retief, Pongola and Mkuze.
Stay on the N2 until you reach the Hluhluwe Village / Sodwana Bay off-ramp
Take the Hluhluwe Off-ramp and turn left towards Hluhluwe Village.
At the first traffic circle (ą 3.5km form N2) keep left. Protea Hotel Hluhluwe & Safaris is the second entrance on your left
From Durban (N2 North)
Take the N2 North, past Stanger, Richards Bay, Empangeni, Mtubatuba, Charters Creek, and Bushlands.
Stay on the N2 until you reach the Hluhluwe Village / Sodwana Bay off-ramp
Take the Hluhluwe off-ramp and turn right towards Hluhluwe Village.
At the first traffic circle (ą 3.5km form N2) keep left. Protea Hotel Hluhluwe & Safaris is the second entrance on your left.
