Our stay at Bateleur in April 2024 was undoubtedly the highlight of our South African holiday. Spanning three nights, this experience truly captivated us. While the lodge and hospitality met our expectations with commendable standards, it was the game drives that defined our visit. At Bateleur, the focus is squarely on immersing oneself in the wonders of wildlife and bushlife. Our guide, Peter, along with tracker Thomas, led us to some spectacular sightings, enriching each of our six game drives with their vast knowledge and expertise. Reflecting on our time at Bateleur, we wholeheartedly recommend it. For those keen on witnessing wildlife up close and gaining insights into the bush, Bateleur offers exceptional value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bateleur. Lovely camp, good tent to stay in, very nice food and excellent staff. The game drives were a pleasure. We still are a bit homesick... want to go back soon!
