A wonderful find for a nature loving work team to celebrate their year end. Always looking for a suitable Covid friendly property that a group of 10-12 can comfortably book out for one night. Four very comfortable, well designed and maintained delux tents looking out into the bush. Ample game and constant birdsong on the property too. Thank you Johan and Penny for your warm hospitality and catering.

What an amazing experience! A review can never reflect of what we experienced. Lovely venue and wonderful hosts. John and Penny made us feel at home and so welcome. The food was out of the books and we had an overall perfect time away.

From the time we arrived at Butjani Lodge we felt at home, peaceful and relax. Doreen was so helpful and friendly as well as all the Staff Members. The Chef - Wow, every Meal was unbelievable. The team was very hospitable. The ranch has a farm-style feel to it, is very homey, peaceful and quiet. The food was great, perfect for vegetarians and vegans. Animals surround the tented accommodations, and the atmosphere is relaxing and calming. Thank you Penny, Mitchell, Chef Immelda and John for the amazing food and breathtaking game drive =)

This was my second stay at Butjani and will be returning soon. This is 5-star hospitality in very private and unique accommodations. Staying at Butjani with John and Penny is like staying with family. Their knowledge of the plants, animals and stars is amazing. The food is great and the game observed right outside your chalet is outstanding! Can't wait to return.

We have just got back from our second stay at Bujani in less than two weeks. The first time there were ten of us self catering. It's the first time we have had self catering with "Butler service" Great attention to detail from John and Penny at all times. We went back on our own for New Year, this time full board. What a pleasure. A very high standard of food and presentation in comfort and in beautiful surroundings. We will be back often!

A truly excellent experience. The peace, tranquility and beauty is only outweighed by the hospitality. On our second visit the book I had been reading the first time, had even been placed by my bedside! The food is five star. You simply have to come again!
