Chateau la Mer Exclusive Guesthouse

from Johannesburg via Malibongwe Road:
• Take Malibongwe Road west, which becomes the R512 that leads past Lanseria Airport
• Carry straight on until you reach the T-junction at Broederstroom and turn RIGHT. (There should
be a vegetable stall in front of you and a SASOL garage on your left.)
• Carry straight on over the bridge, passing NECSA Pelindaba on right.
• Take the Hartbeespoort/N4 Pretoria slip-stream to the left.
• You’ll reach a 4-way stop with a SASOL garage in front of you. Follow the Hartbeespoort slipstream to the left.
• Carry straight on over the mountain. As you enter the town, you’ll pass Jasmyn’s wind mill on the left hand side and a CALTEX garage and Pick & Pay on the right.
• When you reach the second stop sign, turn left. O’Hagan’s will be on the left and KFC opposite O’Hagan’s.
• Keep left at the traffic circle, past DULUX and The Bed Shop.
• Carry straight on, over the 4-way stop. There should be a power supply station on the left.
• You are now in Ou Wapad. The Dreiers centre and a SASOL garage should be on the right.
• Immediately after the SASOL garage, turn left here into Cannon Crescent.
• Château la Mer is in a pan-handle on the left hand side, no. 31/33.

Be careful not to drive past the entrance gate as the house is not visible from the road. (We are right next-door to no. 35). Look out for the signage boards along the road and do not hesitate to phone should you have difficulties finding it.

from Johannesburg via William Nichol Drive:
•Take William Nichol Drive past Monte Casino on the right and Four ways Mall on your left.
• Carry straight on with the R511, underneath the N14 and turn left at the Hartbeespoort turn-off.
• You are now on the Hennops River road. Keep straight on all the way.
• You’ll cross two 4-way stops with a SASOL garage on your right at the second stop.
• Carry straight on over the mountain. As you enter the town, you’ll pass Jasmyn’s wind mill on the left hand side and a CALTEX garage and Pick & Pay on the right.
• When you reach the second stop sign, turn left. O’Hagan’s will be on the left and KFC opposite O’Hagan’s.

from Pretoria via the N4 toll road from Pretoria-west, NOT the N4 Platinum Highway (N1)
• Follow the N4 toll road from Pretoria CBD (Church Street) through Pretoria-west.
• You will go through two toll gates. After the second toll gate, take the Hartbeespoort - Brits - Rustenburg off-ramp. Turn right at the stop sign towards Hartbeespoort / Brits.
• You’ll reach a 4-way stop with a SASOL garage in front of you. Follow the Hartbeespoort slipstream to the left.
• Carry straight on over the mountain. As you enter the town, you’ll pass Jasmyn’s wind mill on the left hand side and a CALTEX garage and Pick & Pay on the right.

from Pretoria via the N4 Platinum Highway (N1), NOT the N4 toll road from Pretoria-west
• Follow the N4 Platinum Highway (N1) north of Pretoria heading towards Rustenburg.
• After the second toll gate, take the Hartbeespoort - Brits off-ramp.
• Turn left at the stop sign towards Hartbeespoort.
• Carry straight on past the SASOL garage on your right. DO NOT follow the sign at the garage indicating to turn right towards Hartbeespoort.
• Carry straight on over the mountain. This is called Silkaatsnek.
• The road will make a slight turn to the left as you’re coming down the mountain. At this turn, right towards Hartbeespoortdam.
• Follow the road until you reach a 4-way stop with TOTAL garage on your left hand side. Turn left, towards Sandton.
• At the next stop sign, turn right. KFC will be on your right and O’Hagan’s will be opposite KFC.
• Keep left at the traffic circle, past DULUX and The Bed Shop.
• Carry straight on, over the 4-way stop. There should be a power supply station on the left.
• You are now in Ou Wapad. The Dreiers centre and a SASOL garage should be on the right.

from Rustenburg via the tunnel:
• Drive over the dam wall and through the tunnel.
• Follow the road past the Snake and Animal Park on your right and Squires restaurant on your left.
• Carry straight on past Wimpy on the right hand side.
• Keep straight on at the traffic light with the high school on the left.
• Go past Village Mall and McDonald’s on your left until you reach the 4-way stop with the TOTAL garage on the left and Spur on the right.
• At the next stop sign, turn right. KFC will be on your right and O’Hagan’s will be opposite KFC.
• Keep left at the traffic circle, past DULUX and The Bed Shop.
• Carry straight on, over the 4-way stop. There should be a power supply station on the left.
• You are now in Ou Wapad. The Dreiers centre and a SASOL garage should be on the right.
