You find many nice guesthouses and then there are those that are extra special. Die Waenhuis is a gem and just so lovely and special. There was not a single negative aspect. The location is central yet quiet and pretty. The house and gardens are beautiful and lovingly maintained. The rooms are stunning and luxuriously decorated. From sherry on arrival to fluffy white towels, superb white linen, a giant shower in the family room and a delicious breakfast - you can be sure we will be back!

This is by far the most beautiful place to stay, clean, tidy and so comfortable. If you are visiting George you have to stay at the Waenhuis. Definitely a hidden treasure. The owners takes care of your every need and the food and service is above average. The fact that they are always full with come-back customer is testimony of their excellent service. I have gone back already!!!
