The beautiful little town of Stellenbosch, roughly an hour from Cape Town, lies surrounded by the Stellenbosch Mountains in the Jonkershoek River Valley in one of the most picturesque settings in the Cape. From Cape Town via the N1 (shortest route from Cape Town) approx 30 minutes:
Take the N1 direction Paarl
Take exit 39 onto the R 304 towards Stellenbosch (first Stellenbosch exit)
At the first Traffic light turn right onto the Bottelary Road, which is at the Koelenhof crossroads (not the winery) just before the Caltex filling station
Go past origin wines on the left
After approximately 1km from the traffic lights, turn left into the road leading to Devonvale Golf Course. The golf course is clearly indicated
You will go past the golf course entrance and the road will go up the hill and down the valley on the other side
After roughly 3km from the Bottelary Road the road will become a dirt track. Continue straight, after a further 200m the road splits, take the right fork
After a further 800m take the dirt track on the right where you see is a sand colored pillar on the right. It is opposite an electricity pylon (N° 3807-139)
Follow the electric cables up the hill for 100m at which time you will see the winery on the right in the middle of the vines
Turn into the driveway towards the winery
From Cape Town International Airport approx 30 minutes:
Follow the airport one way system towards the N2
Take the N2 in an Easterly direction towards Somerset West
At exit 22B take the R300 in a northerly direction towards Bellville and the N1
At the end of the R300, join the N1 in an Easterly direction towards Paarl
