Doornbosch House

Doornbosch House in Elim is the former farmhouse sleeping six guests. Three separate bedrooms with en suite bathrooms offer spectacular views and absolute tranquillity. The main bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a free standing tub, rain shower, toilet and basin. The room has a private veranda. The second bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and an en suite bathroom fitted with a rain shower, toilet and basin. The third bedroom is furnished with two single beds and an en suite bathroom fitted with a rain shower, toilet and basin. The large living room has a dining table, sitting area, a fireplace and TV with DSTV / satellite channels. Terracotta floor tiles and wooden doors and windows, as well as mouldings and stucco walls are handmade by local craftsmen and showcase the traditional Cape Dutch Style. The furniture is an eclectic mix of local antiques and comfortable and colourful European style. High standard fixtures and kitchen appliances give a modern touch. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge with freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher and all utilities for a great self-catering stay. The verandas have great vistas of the Fynbos covered hills and vast planes. Braai facilities are available. The house is situated right in front of the farm pool shared by the other farm houses.
