• Take the N3 past Pietermaritzburg
• Just before Howick take the off ramp to the left marked “Underberg / Bulwer R617”
• Follow the signs to Bulwer on the R617 all the way to Underberg
• Go through the town of Underberg, you will pass the Country Club on your right
• ± 4 km outside Underberg you will see a large signboard indicating a “right turn” to Drakensberg Gardens Resort
• Follow the 29 km tarred road until you arrive at the Hotel
• The journey takes approximately 2½ hours
from Johannesburg
