We slept at Ekuthuleni Guest House the one opposite Ubuntu Kraal. We got there at around 8pm and the security guard couldnt find keys and some rooms were locked. We waited there for a good 15 mins as he was still calling the manager to try sort out which keys to get for us which looked a bit unprofessional and disorganized to us.

The place is clean which is the biggest priority for us. There were a few mishaps that i wasnt happy with: 1. Even though i specifially arranged for (and they confirmed weeks before) an early check in, when we got there at the time we said we would they said the rooms were not ready. We were then given a smaller room which they quickly had to clean and we ended up checking in an hour later than what we needed to and was made late for our appointment. 2. The room had its toilet basin outside of the room which means that you needed to brush your teeth in the foyer/reception area where the basin was - i dont understand how this is acceptable by any standard. 3. Even though the website advertises the room at R625/night we ended up paying R700. 4. We ordered bacon and was told there is no more bacon, 15minites later another guest was served bacon? Also, why only give one egg? Luckily we were only there for one night so it wasnt the end of the world.

I enjoyed my stay, the room was clean and beautiful, friendly staff it was a great experience.
