From Cape Town International Airport:
1. Start at Cape Town International Airport.
2. Exit the airport onto Airport Approach Road. Merge onto N2 Highway.
3. Follow the signs for the N2 towards Somerset West. Take the exit to the left onto the N2. Take the R300 Exit.
4. After about 10 km, take the exit towards the R300 (Bellville/Stellenbosch). Merge onto the R300 North. Merge onto N1 Highway.
5. Stay on the R300 and then take the exit for the N1 towards Paarl. Merge onto the N1. Exit at R45 towards Franschhoek.
6. Continue on the N1 for about 30 km. Take Exit 47 towards Klapmuts, Franschhoek, and R44. At the top of the ramp, turn right onto the R44. Turn Left onto R45.
7. Follow the R44 for a short distance and then turn left onto the R45. Continue on the R45, following the signs towards Franschhoek. Continue on the R45 to Franschhoek.
8. Stay on the R45 for about 25 km, which will take you through the scenic Winelands and into the town of Franschhoek.
