Fleur de Lys Farm is conveniently situated and well appointed. The classic rondavels exude Lowveld character and the simple, green surrounds offer a peaceful and cool respite. The bed, linen and appliances were very good. All the amenities were spotlessly clean. Our only complaint was the hunting that went on until 11.15 pm. Although the hostess sent us a brief text at sunset informing us that hunting would take place ( no time given), we would probably have avoided a venue where animals were being shot so close by on the farm during our stay.
