If you are looking for an old worldly, charming kind of place, Floreal House is for you. The rooms are extra spacious, beds comfortable, the staff is super friendly - and its location is fabulous! The decoration and overall set-up is tasteful and rooms are clean. The garden and swimming pool in the middle of Cape Town are a great plus. The manager Annamieke was very helpful and accommodating when we wanted to store some extra luggage while going for a trip on the garden route - that was greatly appreciated. A draw -back though was the dog shit from their two adorable dogs, is not picked up regularly - I nearly stepped into it on several occasions, whether right at the pool or next to our parked car at the entrance. Overall I would recommend Floreal House for its location and spaciousness. The breakfast was also delicious.
