Beautiful setting and very neat accommodation. A short drive from Wakkerstroom and lovely to stay on the farm for the evening braai. Very warm and snug and emergency lights all set up for load shedding. Great weekend stay

The self-catering cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed the total peace and quiet of the farm and the fabulous views onto Wakkerstroom and the vlei!!

Forellenhof is a wonderful place to stay. We very much enjoyed the quiet and peaceful situation at the cottage with the beautiful view over the pond and to the mountains in the south. The hosts are very charming and gave good hints to discover the area and make contact with old friends in Wakkerstroom. The kitchen was very well equipped (only the pans need to be replaced by heatproof ones). Birdwatching and nature in general at the place and in the area are superb.

What a beautiful cottage Pretty Pig is, with the most magnificent views. Overlooking a small dam, morning coffee was spent watching the birds, ducks and horses. The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We are already planning our next trip to Forellenhof in Wakkerstroom!

Excellent little cottage (Pretty Pig) near the surprisingly charming little town of Wakkerstroom. There are a few cottages not far from the farmhouse with great views across to the distant mountains. Quiet, well appointed cottage with two well appointed bedrooms. We would like to go back and stay for longer next time
