what a wonderful stay , one of the best cottages in a long time , spotless , well equipped (for once our braai equipment stayed in the bakkie) and totally off grid , soul restoring silence and wonderful views . Great walks on the farm as well. Read up on the website how these cottages were constructed , it'll make your stay even more special . Vivian and Marco are wonderful hosts , its remarkable what they have done on this farm. We stayed at Giant kingfisher and will be back in the winter months for a bit of trout fishing

If you are looking for a place to unwind, relax and recharge then this would be the place. This gem of a place hidden in the valley of Langhoogte Farm, Montagu is incredibly special and so beautiful. We had a wonderful time and came back home refreshed and recharged. There are plenty of walking trails. We did a portion of the Leopard trail and found a few paw prints. The owners are wonderful and made staying on their farm a treat. It is a home away from home. First time off the grid and we loved it. I would recommend this place to friends and family. We will definitely go back.
