Another of Cape Town's suburbs divided by Main Road, Claremont, is virtually synonymous with the trendy Cavendish Square, and quaint semi-detached cottages much sought after as ‘starter' homes or for the young and single. Follow the N2 (Settler's Way), direction Cape Town, bear left when you get to the slopes of Table Mountain, taking the M3, direction Muizenberg. Keep on the M3, past the University of Cape Town.
Go straight through first traffic lights (Kirstenbosch exit), bear left at 2nd traffic lights: passing the Shell Garage. Proceed to large circle (take care:you will have the right of way, and the traffic on the circle has to yield!).
Go straight across, 2nd exit, onto Newlands Road. Turn 1st right into Ethel Road, go straight over stop (Eden Road) and you will find Glencoy entrance 1st on the left. We have a brown wooden sliding gate with Glencoy sign on it. Bell on the left.
