From George
Driving time from George airport is approximately 30 minutes.
On leaving the airport, turn right following signs to the N2. After about 2kms, take the left on-ramp onto the N2 towards George and Knysna. The N2 eventually changes from a dual to single carriageway (still same road number) and goes downhill into the Kaimans River Pass and up the other side to the village of Wilderness. About 3kms past Wilderness there is a turning to the left signposted Hoekwil. Take this turning and follow the road for about 5kms. The road goes over a railway line, up a longish hill and at the top you will see signs indicating a right turn into Hoekwil and Hildesheim. Once in the village, turn right at the stop street, Hildesheim is 500m on the LHS.
