Our stay at Glengariff was a memorable one as we took our furkids with and the setting of the house made it extra special. Robyn's warm welcome and care during the weekend made us feel right at home. Our kids loved the garden and spent hours exploring and running around, with long walks on the farm roads. The home is beautiful, clean and has everything one needs - braai places, kitchen utensils, frigdes etc. We would love to visit this truly special place again as a family.

House at Glengariff is an ideal getaway for anyone looking to unwind and recharge. The place is fully fenced with undercover parking next to the house. The bedrooms are very spacious with extra towels, linen and lockable storage cupboards. The kitchen is fully fitted to cater for a group of 10 or more. The lounges are like a mini hall with 2 fire places and unlimited stock of wood. There is also DSTV and unlimited wi-fi. The bathrooms are very neat; and it's very unusual that they provide all the toiletries including toothbrushes, soaps, shampoo, a first aid kit and a whole lot more. There must have been at least 5 braai stands, gas and coal braais. The porch overlooks a garden that is set in front of the mountain ranges with a stream just on the outside of the garden. Beautiful, amazing scenery. The host, Robyn, is such a delightful person who made our stay so very comfortable. We had the entire place to ourselves; but if we needed something, Robyn would personally bring it immediately without asking twice. It's like a mini paradise. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is looking for a spiritual getaway, a family retreat or even for small groups. Would definitely want to go back. We had a really lovely and peaceful stay at the House. The House is a gracious sandstone farmhouse built around 1900 and as soon as you arrive you start to breathe out. I spent hours on the huge veranda on the comfortable sofa reading, watching the bird life and enjoying the view. And enjoying the sunset around the fire in the evening using the wood thoughtfully provided. Only our husky puppy who loved the enormous garden perhaps had happier time! We will be back.

I have to share this secret gem of a holiday home in Pevensey about 25km before Underberg. We've just come back from a phenomenal three days there at this beautiful pet friendly old farm house that was just too beautiful for words. The house was huge. ...sleeps 10 or more. Has 5 bedrooms; two lounges; a large kitchen; three bathrooms; a stunning large veranda and plenty of chairs; couches and benches for everyone to sit all around and outside the home. Fully furnished with everything you need ....all we had to take was our clothes and food. The huge gardens are just too stunning with an enormous number of plants of all kinds and surrounded with farm life, vegetation, a dam with canoes, rock pool and and so so much more.....long walks are a must and wildlife to be seen. Our dogs had the time of their life. The best part is the very reasonable pricing making this affordable for the average family or group of friends but superb and beautiful furnishings in this magnificent house. This was my dream come true and I will most certainly be going back. Really sad to leave today but so glad I've found this little piece of paradise ..... but would never just keep it to myself xxxx

Beautiful old farm style rock house. Very spacious, newly renovated with awesome furniture. Huge kitchen with everything and anything - can even bake biscuits etc. Designer bathrooms. The host is caring, friendly helpful and goes out of her way to make your stay lovely. We enjoyed the scenery and garden, albeit winter! Walks to the dam and river and my hubby trout fishing the dam. In the mornings we sat in the sun having breakfast on the little verandah, afternoons on the large verandah sunning and at night we enjoyed a hot fire ( a new experience) in the large living room. Wood was provided, thanks. I loved the sheep around and got a chance to bottle feed some orphaned lambs, as it is on a working farm. Birdlife abundant. I cannot wait to go back!!

I almost dont want to give the rave review this place deserves because we want to keep it to ourselves. What a stunning space, perfect for large family or group of friends who want spaces to come together and spaces to get a little quiet time. Comfortable, cosy yet also light and airy. The amenties were fantastic, the house beautiful and garden a real delights. we could have stayed for weeks and loved every moment. We'll certainly be back.

Can fully recommend House at Glengariff. Beautiful property in stunning surroundings. Enjoy life on the farm, canoe on the dam in spectacular scenery. Pet friendly so your family dog can also enjoy running free on the foothills of the beautiful mountains or a stroll in the lovely landscaped garden. Enjoy the warmth and glow of the log fire on a chilly evening. We had a most enjoyable few days of peace and quiet, blue skies, long walks and fun with our dog, far from the madding crowd.
