Great house, great location, thanks for an excellent stay.

I don't think my review can fully capture how impressed and special we felt staying at the Hytte Riverview in Rooi Els. What an amazing stay we had! The design of the house had us in reverence, with us constantly saying to one another that this is how we want our homes designed – everything is there where you want it, the beautiful finishes, and all the unexpected cleverness in the design. And then you have where the house is situated – contemplative-induced views of the mountain, river and sea – all in 180-degree views in front of you. Whilst we initially thought the road across the river would bother us (as nature lovers), it became a talking point, especially at night-time when the lights of the few cars became hypnotic. Topping it off was the property host, not only receiving us warmly and showing the house off but also contributing to a memorable stay by sharing local events and specials in the area for the week of our stay. We had tasty food at local restaurants and coffee shops, and recovered in and enjoyed the surrounding nature due to this information. Our stay was definitely value for money, and special – thank you for that!
