The lodge is indeed very beautiful with a lovely pool and a stunning view from the terrace. The breakfast and dinner served are delicious, and the host is friendly and helpful. It's only a 15-minute drive to the Monk's Cowl hiking area, making it a highly recommended place to stay.

What a lovely place in the mountains (Great view of the mountains), with hospitality that enhances the experience even more. Good food and a variety of wines enhances the experience even more. If you are looking for privacy with all the bells and whistles, then INKUNGU is the right place for you. Highly recommended!

If you want to de -stress - the setting is really serene and stunning. Room could do with an upgrade on a few items. A bigger TV would have been nice!

My wife and I recently stayed at Inkungu Lodge for a few days. We both loved the lodge. We found the managers, Megan and Gary, to be friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Our room was clean and had a balcony with a wonderful view of the mountains. It had a comfortable bed, more than enough storage space and a good bathroom attached. The food was very good. They have a good chef and the meals are excellent. The hotel is situated in an area where there are a number of things to see and do. We enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend Inkungu Lodge to anyone wanting to spent a few days in the Northern part of the Drakensberg.

Had the best stay during my visit to south Africa here at Ingkungu. The hosts and hospitality was awesome. We even got an upgrade to a honeymoon suite which was a pleasant surprise and truly made our stay all the more special. The rooms are very clean, hosts are helpful and food lovely too. The interior very tastefully done. Would definitely like to go back sometime again.

This is a simply superb lodge.... owner run...by Kerry and Anton, two of the finest people you could ever hope to meet. Gorgeous rooms beautifully appointed...sublime cuisine and an excellent selection of wines.

There are no words to describe the true magnificence of this lodge. It's not difficult in the Drakensburg to find an amazing view or a beautiful room with great food... it is however very difficult to find owners who care more about their guests than their own comfort. The owners of this spectacular lodge are one in a million, you will never feel unwelcome or uncomfortable. My family are not always an easy bunch to please but each and every one of us had the best experiences...and the food...just Wow (And the fact that it is so reasonable is just an added benefit.

The food was out of this world, the room and service beyond excellent and the views...well no comment needed except that they took our breath away. We will definitely be visiting again
