Rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR). Subject to change without notice.

Quoted rates exclude the following fees which must be paid directly to the property after the booking has been confirmed, usually a week before check-in, but in some cases on arrival.

How to confirm?
Deposits are required to confirm a booking, usually 50% but sometimes as high as 100% depending on season and time till check-in.

Cancellation policy
30% Deposit to secure your booking. Balance payable 60 days prior to arrival date plus refundable breakage deposit of 10% of the booking fee
CANCELLATION TERMS
Cancellation of the booking by the guest should be made in writing.

· cancellation fee 42 days or less before arrival date is 100 % of booking (i.e. full rental cost is payable)
· cancellation fee 43 days to 63 days before arrival date is 60 % of booking
· cancellation fee of 64 days to 150 days of arrival is 40 % of booking
· cancellation fee 151 days or more before arrival dates 10% of booking
Balance owing on cancellation will be advised to the guest and will be paid within 7 days of notification.
In the event of a cancellation, we will attempt to re-let the property and if successful, a discretionary payment may be made. But please be aware that re-letting is rarely possible at short notice as most of our bookings are made many months in advance.
We strongly recommend that you take out holiday / travel insurance to avoid any loss to yourself in event of having to cancel your holiday due to unforeseen circumstances and to cover medical expenses during your holiday in South Africa.
NOTE: If Corona restricts travel or is likely to and If I am given reasonable notice I may decide to relax the cancellation conditions or suggest you defer the dates. Please monitor the situation in your home country and in SA and alert me of the possible need to cancel. Please give me as long notice as possible even if it is just a concern.

Cancellation because of failure to pay balance payable when due
If the guest fails to pay on due date the owner is entitled to assume the guest has cancelled the booking. The owner will email the guest that the booking is to be cancelled, and if no agreement is made between the owner and guest within 48 hours of sending the email the booking is deemed cancelled and the owner shall retain the right to re-let the property or not. When the booking is cancelled because payment not received when due the owner may apply the same cancellations terms as reflected above.

Cancellation by owner:
Owner also retains rights to cancel for reasonable reason, such as flood or fire or other damage, sale of property etc.Notice shall be given as soon as circumstance known. In such circumstance a full refund shall be made. Guest will be referred to Plett Villas who are agents for many properties to source alternative accommodation. Owners liability limited to refund of all monies received from guest.
