The staff need to keep guests informed at all times,

The breakfast service was no more, the only thing what was goog was the bathroom. Very poor was the rest. Price to high!!

Not Impressed at all, we were in a back room and the kitchen is outside the setting is not good at all, it not worth the price

I stay at Jessicas B/B in Umhlanga every year when I visit South Africa. It is my home from home and I love it. This year was my 6th experience of this comfortable establishment and it won't be my last. The garden and pool are beautiful. Jess and Eric are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to accommodate your every need, even taking me on a mini Safari to i'Mfolosi/Hluhluwe. Eric is an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide and Jess is a wonderful cook. As I had no transport, either Jess or Eric took me wherever I needed to go and picked me up later, even delivering me to the airport at the end of my stay. I have no hesitation in recommending this bed and breakfast venue to any one. Pauline McDonald.

stayed here for 10 days. comfortable clean accomodation well equiped close to beach and shops very private and quiet and swimming pool. jessica a good host and very helpful would reccomend this accomodation if staying at umhlanga and should i return to s.africa would stay here worth 3 stars

We stayed at Jessica's B & B for 5 days and found it very private, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. It's close to the airport, beaches, and Gateway shopping centre and is situated in a beautiful setting. And the swimming pool area is a delight (our six-year old chose this B&B based on the photos of the pool and it didn't disappoint!). Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely be back next time we visit Durban.

Jessica's B&B is what you can call 'a home away from home'. It is cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. Jessica and Eric are extremely friendly and accomodating. Feels like home.Even our 6 year old - who normally needs a little time to warm up - was comfortable immediately. She felt free to explore and play and Jessica's friendly manner contributed very much to this. Jessica did everything to ensure our comfort. This will be our accommodation each time we are down at the coast from now on.

We had a great time at this B & B. The accommodation is adequate although there is only one bathroom and it is situated at the far end of the main bedroom - we were in a unit that had one main bedroom and two single beds in the living area. We were 4 adults and 1 child so another bathroom/toilet would have been ideal. The bathroom is tiny with a small hand basin and shower - no bath and with nowhere to put toiletries etc. The pool area is fantastic with a lovely lapa and the pool was small but adequate for our needs. Jessica and Eric were very welcoming - only downside to that would be that the first night we were there we ordered in pizza and the delivery man went to the wrong gate. It was quickly pointed out to us that the wrong buzzer was buzzed and not to do it again -a t least that is how it seemed to come across. You can walk to the beach and I reckon this takes about 15 minutes as it is all downhill. Coming up however takes at least 30 minutes as it is all uphill and quite steep. I would highly recommend this B & B and when we go to Umhlanga again we would most definitely stay there.

Jessica's b&b is wounderful place to stay.Everthing is nearby & its peaceful & quiet. The best thing is that the beach is close by! Thank you for your hospitalty.
