Letskraal Homestead

Letskraal Homestead has five bedrooms and two shared bathrooms that are situated outside at the back of the house. There is one bedroom with a double bed, one with two single beds, one with three single beds or a King and on single. The Stable room is furnished with a double bed and The Pedlars Room is furnished with two single beds. One of the outside bathrooms is fitted with a bath, shower, basin and toilet. The other bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Although there is no electricity, the kitchen is fully equipped with a gas fridge, a gas stove, cutlery as well as tea and coffee facilities and guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table. The original hearth provides for open-fire cooking and indoor braaing. The Dutch oven appeals to Foodies for bread baking. The lounge is furnished with a single divan, making the Farmhouse perfect for a big family or group of friends. Paraffin lamps and candles provide lighting; a fireplace and paraffin heaters provide heating; the donkey is stoked twice daily for hot water. Our staff service the house daily. Outside are braai facilities (wood provided) and an outdoor pool. Guests are asked to bring along torches and please note that there is no phone reception on the farm.
