From Port Elizabeth to Long Hope Villa @ River Bend
1. Depart Port Elizabeth on the N2 towards Grahamstown
2. While still on the double carriageway, take the R335 off-ramp signposted MOTHERWELL
3. Continue along this road for +- 43 km until you reach the village of ADDO (see garage on your left)
4. Continue for a further 11,5 km after the village and TURN LEFT at the turn-off signposted: Zuurburg/Dave Marais Camp/Slagboom
5. 3,5 km along this road you will see the River Bend gates on your RIGHT
Alternative Route
1. Depart Port Elizabeth along the N2 towards Grahamstown
2. Continue for +- 50km until you reach an intersection of roads.
3. Follow the N10 towards Paterson/Cradock
4. At Paterson (20km) TURN LEFT on to the R342 towards ADDO
5. 26km along the road you will pass the Addo Elephant Park turn off on your left
6. Continue for a further 1,5km and TURN RIGHT down the road sign-posted: Zuurburg/Slagboom
7. 3,5km along this road you will see the River Bend gates on your RIGHT
Give yourself approximately 50 - 60 minutes from Port Elizabeth. The alternative route is approximately 30 minutes longer.
